Dáil Éireann - Volume 463 - 13 March, 1996 - Adjournment Debate. - Child Sexual Abuse Victims.: "However, the sad and unacceptable fact is that Irish law has allowed insurmountable barriers to stand in the way of the victims of child sexual abuse who wish to seek some vindication through the courts."NOW THERE IT IS IN BLACK AND WHITE IRISH LAW HAS AND DOES ALLOW INSURMOUNTABLE(LEGISLATION)BARRIERS TO STAND IN THE WAY OF THE VICTIMS OF EVERY KIND OF ABUSE INCLUDING SEXUAL???????SO MUCH FOR THE LATEST HEALTH INFORMATION AND QUALITY AUTHORITY REPORT WHICH IS NOT WORTH A TOSS IF THE LAWS ARE NOT CHANGED IN RELATION TO CHILDRENS RIGHTS.THE STATE AND THEIR CRONIES DONE IT QUICK ENOUGH FOR LISBON TREATY TWO,BUT DRAG THEIR HEELS WHEN IT COMES TO VUNERABLE CHILDREN?THE THREE CARD TRICK COMES TO MIND.
