There must be hundreds of cases of abused children and teenagers who were put into psychiatric "care" not to help them but to shut them up. Electroshocks were used to erase their memory and to cause fear. Psychiatry has always been on the side of oppressors.
Scientists who want to present controversial research may find themselves locked up in a psychiatric hospital till after the conference they were going to speak at.
If there is a law for whistleblower protection then a lot of abuses in psychiatry, the police and the courts will hopefully end.
