PADDYWANTSTOKNOW?

PADDYWANTSTOKNOW?: I call for a debate on appointments. An issue was raised by a number of colleagues last week concerning the appointment of the Irish representative to the Council of Europe’s Committee on the Prevention of Torture. PADDYWANTSTOKNOW?: They point out that another review by Assistant Commissioner Ray McAndrew in 2005, after a key witness, Marie Farrell, retracted a statement implicating Mr Bailey did not result in any gardaí being prosecuted or disciplined over their handling of the original investigation?
