Why I'm Suing the FBI, the DoD and the CIA Truthout: So, on Tuesday, I sued the FBI in US District Court for the District of Columbia. I hooked up with the Arlington, Virginia-based public interest law firm National Security Counselors, and we also sued the CIA, the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, Department of Treasury, the Office of Director of National Intelligence and the National Archives and Records Administration, alleging the agencies had violated 5 U.S.C. § 552(a)(7)(B) of the FOIA by failing to provide the National Security Counselors with estimated dates of completion for separate FOIA requests.?
