Sentenced to four years in prison the former governor of the Bank of Italy Economics Newspaper: "The court also sentenced the insurer Unipol to pay 900,000 euros and ordered the confiscation of 39.6 million euros for the actions of two former employees in connection with the Antonveneta case, because under Italian law, companies have responsibility for the shortcomings in supervision. The former president of Unipol, Giovanni Consorte, has been sentenced to three years in prison and a fine of 1 million euros."?
