Police Accountability - Human Rights in Ireland
Police Accountability - Human Rights in Ireland: "I can’t say what has actually happened to these people and whether the guards have done any of things that these people allege. It’s easy to be sceptical when we hear such stories but what strikes me is that a lot of people probably were very sceptical of Frank McBrearty’s story ten years ago. "We know that he contacted numerous politicians and journalists, desperate to have someone hear what happened to him, because he felt there was nowhere he could turn"?. A number of those listened and his story was eventually found to be largely true. We need to be cautious of being so sceptical that we don’t hear the truth."THE"REAL"REASONS PROJECT?
